Our client, a prominent Am Law 100 law firm, seeks to grow its intellectual property practice in its established Pittsburgh office. Partners ideally should possess $1M in portable business. Our client is open to IP attorneys with a variety of technical experience (although there is a particular interest in those individuals with life sciences or chemistry backgrounds) as well as trademark attorneys and IP litigators.
This is a unique opportunity to join a firm that has a national footprint with a middle market focus and a sophisticated intellectual property practice that includes around 90 attorneys, but with a more competitive rate structure than global law firms. The firm has a collegial and collaborative environment with nimble practice groups, is very democratic, operates conservatively and has met budget since 2008. They have an open compensation structure and are a working partnership who knows who they are and where they are going--they are one firm.
